Today is World Water Day. It is an important reminder about one of the earth’s most precious resources. Water is essential to our everyday lives but our supplies are limited. Following is information about water use and water saving tips from several resources:

Forty percent of the world’s people are being affected by water scarcity. If not addressed, as many as 700 million could be displaced by 2030 in search of water. Dive in and know more about how you can make it about nature and water on #WorldWaterDay. @UnitedNationsWater

Think you only consume a few glasses of water a day? The ‘water footprint’ of the average American is 32,911 glasses per day, according to an infographic by the Nature Conservancy and the Water Footprint Network (@thenatureconservancy).
