The system monitors water pressure along the district’s utility lines using a GIS map-based system. If a leak or break occurs anywhere along the system, the water district employees are immediately notified via text.

The IoT-based system works without electricity or WiFi networks. It is powered by a solar panel-charged battery. Data is transmitted through a regular Verizon or AT&T LTE Cat M1 network.  Water pressure is transmitted every 5 seconds to Nobel’s GeoViewer Online and Mobile applications.
