Nobel Systems hosted a senior cabinet-level delegation from Uzbekistan at its customer’s location, the Mabalacat City Water District in Mabalacat, the Philippines on December 19.
The Mabalacat City Water District showcased Nobel’s GIS solution, GeoViewer, used widely for service orders, field data collection, adding new service connections, and many more asset management processes.
Mr. Dilshod Azimov, Uzbekistan’s First Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, and Mr. Sukhrob Mirdjamalov, Managing Director for Tashkent Province SUE, as well as the rest of the delegation, were impressed with the cutting edge technology in use at Mabalacat.
Mr. Azimov and Mr. Mirdjamalov have been tasked with providing modern technology to manage Uzbekistan’s water systems and reduce water losses.
Mr. Azimov commented that Nobel’s solution fits perfectly with the goals he has set and directed his staff to move forward in working with Nobel in implementing a water management system.
The visit was made possible through the active support of the Asian Development Bank. ADB partners with member governments, independent specialists and other financial institutions to originate projects in developing member countries that generate economic and development effectiveness.
