Three Valleys Municipal Water District has signed multi-year contract to implement Nobel Systems GeoViewer Real-time Water Operations Management system.

This implementation will deliver a standardized enterprise system for the water district and will take advantage of GeoViewer’s powerful solutions for Work Order Management, Valve Isolation, Leaks Collection, Valve Exercising, Business Intelligence, and DigMark management.

GeoViewer Mobile Work Order

Using GeoViewer Work Order, field staff can receive and submit work orders while in the field. In addition, with Work Order, office staff can track labor and equipment costs.

The GeoViewer Valve Isolation module enables field and office staff to identify and locate problems, such as a water main break, along the water distribution system and determine which valves to close. Properties impacted by any disruption in service can be identified and customers can be immediately alerted.

Field staff can use the Leaks Collection module to collect and record data related to the location of reported leaks. The module synchronizes data with the GIS server enabling real-time updates for office staff.

Paired with the Valve Isolation module, staff can conduct a quick analysis of a distribution system and its properties impacted by a shutdown.

Valve Exerciser Machine Adapter

Nobel Systems’ Valve Exerciser Machine Adaptor enables staff to send data from a valve machine to GeoViewer Mobile using Bluetooth technology. The adaptor extracts data such as turns, torque and direction. Data is automatically populated into the GeoViewer Mobile app and synchronizes with GeoViewer Desktop.

Nobel Systems DigMark

DigMark helps streamline workflow processes by synchronizing information from Dig Tickets submitted by staff. Field users can attach photos directly to the ticket and mark ticket statuses as complete when the work is done. All users receive the status updates.

Nobel Systems’ Business Intelligence services enable a comprehensive view of a water utility’s information so stakeholders can identify and prioritize critical initiatives.

Three Valleys chose GeoViewer based on Nobel Systems industry leading user friendly products, decades of experience, extremely positive customer reviews, and overall cost.

Three Valley Municipal Water District services the areas of Pomona, Walnut and Eastern San Gabriel Valleys. Its service area covers 133 square miles. The district is a member agency of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.

Nobel looks forward to working closely with Three Valleys Municipal Water District for the foreseeable future!
