The City of Huntington Park, Calif., released its public reporting application, MyHuntingtonPark, created with Nobel Systems’ GeoViewer Citizen software.
The mobile application enables citizens to report problems and other issues to the city via the GeoViewer Mobile software application.
GeoViewer Citizen makes it faster and easier for the public to report problems and for the city to address issues in a timely manner.
GeoViewer Citizen software uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and IoT (Internet of Things) technology enabling real-time reporting and tracking.
The public can report issues such as potholes, missing street signs, graffiti and other issues that occur within the city.
App users can submit photos, along with location information and detailed notes.
The Citizen application automatically creates a work order in GeoViewer once an issue is reported. Managers can assign or schedule the work to be completed using GeoViewer.
City staff can review and respond to public reports and users are notified when a problem they reported is fixed.
Citizen app users can also see other public submissions and comment on them.
