The City of El Monte, Calif. has contracted Nobel Systems to employ its utility asset management system, GeoViewer. The cloud-based GIS / IoT asset management application enables utilities to streamline field operations management, analysis, and reporting.
The city will use GeoViewer Online and Mobile. The real-time, cloud-based functionality of GeoViewer will enable city staff and field crew to submit and track work orders, manage equipment and labor information, and submit billing and reporting all from the desktop or mobile applications. Real-time synchronization avoids costly delays and digital intelligence avoids lengthy paper-driven reporting and processes.
GeoViewer’s smart-map technology will significantly improve the monitoring of El Monte’s GPS data collection, valve exercising, hydrant flushing, leak data collections, back-flow inspections, sewer line cleaning, CCTV integration, manhole inspection module, and its DigMark program.
The City of El Monte in Los Angeles County provides a population of more than 116,000 with wastewater management, sewer, and other services.
