The GIS-based billing and collection systems will help the district more efficiently manage resources and communication with its customers.

GeoNobel, Inc., Nobel Systems’ Philippines branch, contracted with the Alaminos City Water District to provide its web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) and contactless billing and collection.

GeoNobel’s GIS billing and collection system will allow the water district to more efficiently manage its resources by reducing contact errors and providing real-time data on water usage. The system will also help the district reduce on-site collection times and improve customer service.

In the Philippines, many municipalities rely on Nobel Systems, Inc. for their GIS needs. Nobel Systems currently provides GIS-based solutions to more than 20 water districts in the Philippines, and they continue to expand their reach to other municipalities.

One of the company’s main goals is to provide GIS asset management and billing solutions and contactless billing and collection systems for water utilities that are accurate and efficient.

Nobel recently realized this goal when they partnered with Bayawan Water District and Teresa Water District in the Philippines. Both water districts are using GeoViewer, a cloud-based GIS asset management application, to streamline functionality for its field operations management, GIS data collection and analysis, and reporting. Bayawan Water District, based in Negros Oriental, and Teresa Water District, based in Rizal, Philippines, use the GeoViewer Billing module to manage the district’s billing and reporting.

Nobel Systems’ GIS-based billing and collection system use geospatial technology to provide water districts with technology to create real-time billing and collection systems. The system will streamline the manual meter reading process and provide leading-edge technology to local water districts to serve their constituents more efficiently.
