Hosted by The Water Council, the Water Leaders Summit is the premier gathering of water thought leaders from around the country and the world. This year’s summit is happening from September 13 to 14 in Milwaukee. It will feature engaging panel discussions among industry experts, who will share their insights and experiences on how to address the most pressing water challenges.
The Water Leaders Summit will be moderated by acclaimed author and journalist Charles Fishman, who wrote The Big Thirst: The Secret Life and Turbulent Future of Water. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other water professionals and participate in small group discussions on topics that matter to them.
Water Innovation and Stewardship
The theme of this year’s summit is Building Water Resiliency. The Water Leaders Summit will explore how the water industry leaders can develop solutions that enhance the capacity of water users and suppliers to withstand or recover quickly from water-related difficulties.
Whether it’s drought, flooding, contamination, aging infrastructure or social inequity, water challenges are becoming more complex and urgent in a changing world. The Water Leaders Summit helps provide a platform to open up the discussion on innovation, technology, and stewardship in creating a more water resilient future.
There are different panel discussions and engagement opportunities all throughout the two-day Water Leaders Summit that will foster conversations on water challenges and water technology solutions. Attendees will hear from companies and communities that are already implementing water solutions in their operations and regions.
Curated Conversations at the Water Leaders Summit
One of the highlights of the Water Leaders Summit will be the Resiliency Solutions in Practice session on September 14, 2023. It will be the final session on the last day of the summit.
