A United States Trade and Development Agency grant has made the collaboration between Nobel and Uzbekistan possible.
Nobel Systems is proud to announce it has been selected to provide Uzsuvtaminot JSC, the national water provider in Uzbekistan, with a Digital Twin Modeling analysis system. The U.S. Trade and Development Agency provided a grant to Uzbekistan, enabling collaboration.
Nobel is a leading industry provider of geospatial services, asset management, and spatial cloud solutions,
“The purpose of the grant is to define a unified vision and establish a collective framework for Uzsuvtaminot to improve the organization’s use of technology efficiently and effectively,” said Michael Samuel, President and CEO of Nobel Systems.
The Digital Twin system utilizes geospatial technology such as GIS and other fundamental data sources and IoT network sensor devices to help Uzsuvtaminot manage and monitor network performance in real-time.
This new system will allow for more efficient operations for the water provider to best serve its customers.
“The goal is to build upon the successes of a GIS system, evaluate present conditions, assess industry trends, and collaborate with other communities to encourage and promote data sharing to drive better decision-making and the delivery of safe and clean water,” Samuel said. “We are deeply grateful and honored to be chosen as a trusted vendor by USTDA to provide these services.”
The Digital Twin system will provide accurate and reliable data that Uzsuvtaminot can use to perform what-if analysis and make informed decisions throughout the lifecycle of the water network, from long-term system vulnerability and capacity planning to immediate performance monitoring and emergency response.
