Nobel Systems to Upgrade La Puente Valley Water District GIS System

Aretha Samuel · Leave a Comment

La Puente Valley County Water District contracted Nobel Systems to improve their existing GIS system dramatically and will integrate Nobel’s flagship GeoViewer solution into their current system.

Nobel Systems will provide both GeoViewer Online & Mobile to the water district. Leveraging the latest smart-map and synchronization technology, Nobel’s GeoViewer Mobile is easy to use and is designed to streamline field workflow processes to help manage day-to-day operations.

GeoViewer Mobile’s advanced technology allows district field staff to view, analyze and collect data, online or offline without ever having to worry about impractical syncing procedures.

GeoViewer Mobile extends smart map technology beyond the office and provides staff with real-time data to make accurate decisions and collaborate in both office and field environments.

Nobel Systems will initially roll out the Valve Exercising,  Hydrant Flushing and Leaks modules as part of the GeoViewer Mobile deliverable. Subsequently, the La Puente Valley Water District may opt to go also implement Nobel’sWork Order and Service Order system integrated with the district’s CUSI billing system.

The La Puente Valley County Water District has been providing water service to the community for over 90 years. The District was formed in August 1924 by popular vote, per the County Water District Act of 1913.

The District’s commitment to their customers is first and foremost. Customers expect that at any time of the day when they turn on the tap, water is there and is safe to drink.

Maintaining the water supply, treating the water to meet the numerous water quality standards and moving it through the water distribution system all year long to the district’s customers, is a job they take seriously.

Nobel’s GeoViewer application will ensure that the district’s high standards are met.
